August 2026 US Tour Dates: Harry Styles’ MSG Residency & the Last Big Festivals

August 2026 is shaping up as one of the busiest live-music months of the year — anchored by the biggest concert story of the fall and closed out by the final major festivals of the summer. Here’s what’s confirmed, with dates and official tickets.

Harry Styles: 30 Nights at Madison Square Garden

The headline event of the month — and arguably the year. Harry Styles brings his Together, Together tour to Madison Square Garden for a 30-show residency running August 26 through October 31, 2026. It’s the only North American stop of a tour that visits just seven cities worldwide, which makes New York the sole US destination for the biggest pop act of the decade. Jamie xx opens many of the MSG dates. General sale for the August–early-October shows happened back in January, but single nights still surface — check official listings and plan around it: concerts in New York.

The Festival Finale: July 30 — August 9

The first two weekends of August close out festival season proper. Lollapalooza wraps up in Chicago’s Grant Park (July 30 – August 2) with Lorde, Charli xcx, Tate McRae, The Smashing Pumpkins and John Summit topping the bill — see what else is on around it: concerts in Chicago. The same weekend, HARD Summer (August 1–2) takes over Los Angeles with house, techno and hip-hop crossovers: concerts in Los Angeles. A week later, Outside Lands (August 7–9) fills Golden Gate Park with Charli xcx, The Strokes and RÜFÜS DU SOL: concerts in San Francisco.

How to Play August

Two practical notes. First, the Styles residency compresses New York hotel and ticket demand from late August onward — if MSG is the trip, book travel before the residency’s opening week. Second, festival weekends ripple outward: touring acts route club and theatre shows around Lollapalooza and Outside Lands, so the days just before and after those weekends are unusually strong for smaller shows in Chicago and San Francisco.
